Basin Hospice extends a wonderful opportunity to you. As a

hospice volunteer you will become a part of a very special

group of people. Enrich your life by enriching the life of

hospice patients and families.
There are a variety of assignments to choose from based on your

area of interest, schedule and talents. Below arejust a few valuable

tasks that volunteers can do to help people stay at home and

live out their life in dignity.

responsibilities and need more personal time. Basin Home Health Hospice strives to meet the needs of
individual families.To make that goal a reality requires many different talents and
professional skills. Volunteers provide that essential variety necessary to meet a
array of care needs.Because hospice care is given during an emotional and crucial
period of a family’s life, the warmth and care given by volunteers makes a significant impact.
Hospice volunteers receive free specialized training to assist primary caregivers with care
and support of patients and families. Volunteers also serve in a wide range of administrative
support services.
